This year we were blessed with a standard harvest, that resulted in the most transparent hues, representative of the single characteristics of our Wild Forest and Ancient Trees mountains.
As always, our leaves are protected by our signature wrapping paper, each specifically designed to tell the story of our land, and connect it to the centuries-old tradition of Chinese terroirs.

The design for our Wild Forest Yueguangbai was inspired by an illustration from the masterpiece Flora Sinensis by polish missionary Michael Boym. The fresh hues of Nannuo mountain develop into a great delicacy when processed as a white tea. Our Wild Forest Yueguangbai has a sweet flavor, with a complex aftertaste of tropical fruits like litchi, pineapple, and finally jackfruit (菠萝蜜 Bōluómì), the protagonist of this illustration. In this new harvest, we can already feel the soft notes of wood, honey, and wildflowers, that will become predominant with the aging process.

Wonderful colors ranging from the pure white notes of young buds to the dark green and brownish hues of mature leaves, make the unwrapping of this cake an astonishing experience. The honey-yellow liquor that results from the first brews releases the full fruity fragrance of the new harvest, reserving the most floral notes with hints of boiled chestnuts for the last infusions.
