This matcha bowl is fired in an anagama (wood) kiln and paddled tenmoku glazed.

Gregory Miller trained as a ceramicist in Japan, speaks Japanese and organises ceramic trips to Japan. Gregory therefore has in-depth knowledge of Japanese tea culture, including matcha. A matcha bowl has special dimensions that make it possible to whip a fine and airy matcha tea.
