Kabuse okumidori - sencha for cold brew

This Kabuse Sencha (kabuse means shaded) is made from the much-loved Okumidori cultivar, which has a smooth and round flavour with low astringency.
When you combine 5-day shade with the natural flavour of the cultivar, you have a seriously smooth and fresh sencha with white chocolate in the aftertaste.
The tea is produced by Clean Tea Matsuno in Shizouka, Japan.

If you brew the tea in a HARIO cold brew bottle, you can add enough tea to the bottle to cover the bottom. Be careful not to use too much tea. Cold brew tea can stay fresh in the fridge for 1-2 days and you can make 2 extracts from the same leaves.
