This teacup is designed by Kamide Keigo, who is the 5th generation of the Choemon porcelain company, located on the west coast of Japan near Kanasawa, where he is currently chief designer and runs the company. Choemon is known for hand-painted porcelain and over 150 years they have developed their own expression with a blue and red glaze in particular.
Kamide Keigo trained as a painter at the Tokyo Art Academy and has taken the company to new heights with new unique and imaginative designs.
This cup is inspired by a Buddhist symbol consisting of a triangle, a square and a circle and the symbol is called "Everything".
