Preparation
Kabusecha is best brewed in a preheated small tea pot, so that you can pour water on the leaves again and make fresh extracts.
- Use 1 tbsp. (about 8 grams) tea for 200-250 ml of water.
- Water temperature: 70ºC.
- First brew: 45 seconds.
- Second brew: 5-10 seconds.
- Third brew: approx. 1 minute.
Use soft water if possible to achieve the best flavour brewing this tea. Use filtered water for boiling.
