Formosa Jade Oolong

This tea also carries the name ‘Dung Ti Jade Oolong’. The term Jade Oolong refers to the fact that this Oolong tea is a green oolong. The tea is lightly oxidised, resulting with a very soft yet complex taste and flower notes such as lily and orchid. The green-blue tea leaves are rolled into small balls which beautifully unfold during brewing.

Formosa Jade Oolong is best brewed in a preheated small teapot or gaiwan, so you can pour water on the leaves again and make more extractions.

Do not boil the oxygen out of the water. Remove the boiler from the heat when the water boils. Use 1 tsp. (2-3 grams) tea pr. cup and pour the water over when it has cooled a little (about 90 degrees).

Let the tea brew for 3-4 minutes by first brew and gradually prolonged draw time at the subsequent brews.

The leaves can be used up to 4-5 times.
