Sencha with added rhubarb is a fine composition that gives a fresh and sweet tea. It is based on a Chinese sencha, which has a more rustic and full-bodied taste and is therefore works well in combination with the sweet rhubarb.

Sencha with rhubarb can be enjoyed at any time of the day and it is also suitable as an ice tea. Get a booklet with when you order the tea, by writing your wish in comments.

Preparation

Sencha Rhubarb is brewed in a preheated jug.

The water must not boil for a long time, as you boil the oxygen out of the water.

Use 1 tsp. tea pr. cup.

The leaves are poured with 80 degree hot water.

Infusion time: 3 – 4 minutes.

The leaves can be used twice.

 

Tips

If you only brew one cup at a time, you can use a sieve or “fill-yourself” tea bag, where the leaves can flow freely and thereby give a fine taste. When using a sieve or “Fill-yourself” tea leaves can also be brewed on the leaves again.
