Organic is, as mentioned, a form of production we are in favour of, but there are some aspects of organic production of tea that need to be considered such as resource consumption.
The tea bushes for organic production often take longer to produce leaves that can be used for tea production, which means, among other things, that water consumption can be higher than in conventional cultivation. In addition, the bushes often produce lower yields, which of course means that shrubs and land (and water) is needed if there is the demand. In conventional cultivation, the bushes are allowed to use artificial fertilizers that increases cultivation.
